Hydians

Hydians are a race of beautiful poets who loved peace. One day planet Hydia was invaded by an evil tyrant by the name of Frieza. The planet tried to put up a decent fight using their hidden talents, but in the end they fell. It was later found out that their people were sold out by the prime minister Zarbon. He did so in exchange for a spot as Frieza's right hand man. After defecting to Frieza, Zarbon quickly killed The Hydian king and took his place in a bloody coup de grace. There are rumors that the king's son is somewhere in the galaxy, planning a revolution for his people.

Although being quite normal looking, Hydians hold a dark secret within their bodies. The ability to transform into hideous monsters is something that a Hydian takes very seriously, no matter the charismatic loss. Filled with rage at the loss of their honor and planet, a Hydian can be a very dangerous adversary.
